Part of the 2023 Fender Custom Shop collection, the '65 Telecaster Custom Heavy Relic Maple features a 2-piece Select Alder body with elegant double parchment binding and a heavy relic lacquer finish, as well as faded 3-color sunburst.
This model recreates the look and feel of a mid-'60s Telecaster custom that has withstood decades of intense wear and tear. The quarter-sawn maple neck, which tapers toward the nut, has a large "C" profile that gradually thickens toward the 12th fret, providing a comfortable feel. It features a 9.5-inch radius round-ram maple fingerboard with 21 narrow-tall frets (6105) and a bone nut.

Featuring a Stratocaster-inspired Custom Shop hand-wound Twisted Tele® neck pickup®, plus a Custom Shop hand-wound Original Blackguard Tele® bridge pickup, it delivers all the twang tone and clarity celebrated in the early '50s. We provide you with Featuring a 3-way pickup switch and Greasebucket™ tone circuit that minimizes gain/mid loss at lower volumes, modern Telecaster wiring provides an incredible tonal versatility.

Other premium features include a 3-ply parchment pickguard, '64-'66 Telecaster bridge with threaded steel saddles, vintage-style "F" tuners, wing string tree, deluxe hardshell case, strap, and certificate of authenticity.
