Azumi Features

All Azumi flutes feature the Altus-Bennett Scale, a Gizmo Key and an Altus Z-Cut™ Professional headjoint with a .925 Sterling Silver Lip Plate and Riser.

These standard features of Azumi flutes make them an exceptional value for the aspiring flutist.

• Z-Cut Headjoint: The most distinctive feature of all Azumi flutes is the Altus Z-cut professional headjoint which responds quickly and easily and produces a full and rich tone in all three registers.

• Pointed Key Arms: Usually reserved for professional models, all Azumi Flutes feature pointed key arms for an elegant and refined look, improved key strength, and even pad wear.

• Open Holes: Open holes are the standard among intermediate flutes, and are the preference of the majority of flutists.

• B Footjoint with Gizmo key: The B footjoint increases the range to low B and adds a Gizmo key, which is intended to facilitate the performance of the fourth octave C.

• Offset G: There is no difference in the tone produced with inline or offset G keys, it is simply a matter of comfort and preference.
