Presenting Music City Custom Craftsman Select Solid Shell Snares. With Pearl's commitment to constant quality advancement comes the need to experiment. As diverse inlays and new finish techniques are tested, refined, and developed, experimentation becomes inspiration for drums that stray from our stock recipe Solid Shell models.

Each one-of-a-kind Craftsman-Select drum is the result of this creative process and features a finish and inlay combination that is totally unique to its selected shell.

As this process yields a very limited array of completed drums, each is the only one of its kind and is only available exclusively through select Pearl Dealers in the USA.

Highlights

Meticulously formed from a steam-treated plank of premium North American Maple, Ash, Cherry, or Walnut, each shell is reinforced at each edge with 6mm solid Maple rings and hand routed with 45-degree bearing edges
To ensure tuning precision and accurate hardware fitting, all drilling points are CNC routed
All inlays are hand-rolled and bonded into each precisely routed fitting channel
For a pristine finish, each Nashville Natural and inlaid shell exterior is hand-buffed before it is sealed in the final finish phase
The final finish is hand-applied and inspected to insure nothing interferes with the natural beauty and sound of the shell
Final assembly features our STL150 Swivel Lugs and Stainless Steel tension rods of secure tuning accuracy, the effortless SR017 Snare Strainer, Ultra-Sound snare wires, and 2.3mm Superhoop II Triple-Flanged hoops
